Speedy Hire PLC03 October 2005 3 October 2005 Speedy Hire Plc ("Speedy Hire") Acquisition of Delyn Hire Centres Limited for £1.2 million Speedy Hire announces the acquisition of the business and certain assets ofDelyn Hire Centres Limited ("Delyn") for a cash consideration of £1.2 million. Delyn is a well-respected, independent local tool hire business which tradesfrom four depots in North Wales - Mold, Queensferry, Wrexham and Rhyl. Theacquisition will be fully integrated into Speedy Hire's existing network. Itstrengthens the Group's profile and customer base in an area where Speedy Hirehas no existing depots, thereby avoiding the current need to establishgreenfield depots in the North Wales area. The business will be re-branded as Speedy Hire. The introduction of SpeedyHire's operating model and investment in Delyn's hire fleet will driveimprovements in its performance.
