Go-Ahead Group PLC22 February 2006 For release at 7.00am22 February 2006 The Go-Ahead Group plc ("Go-Ahead" or the "Group") Acquisition of the business and assets of Probus Management Limited Go-Ahead announces that The Birmingham Coach Company Limited, the Group'srecently acquired bus and coach operator in the West Midlands conurbation, hasagreed to acquire the business and assets of Probus Management Limited, a busoperator in the Greater Birmingham area, for an estimated cash consideration of£2.4 million. Completion is subject to the satisfaction of certain conditionsand the agreement in due course of a completion statement to finalise theconsideration. The business operates a fleet of over 100 vehicles from a depotin West Bromwich and will be consolidated with The Birmingham Coach CompanyLimited.
