AMEC PLC28 April 2006 28 April 2006 AMEC plc French Multitechnical Regional Services acquisition AMEC plc, the international project management and services company, announcesthe acquisition of the French heating, ventilation and air conditioning ("HVAC")specialist services company Societe Nouvelle de Chauffage et de ClimatisationSAS ("SNC SAS"). Based near Strasbourg in the east of France, SNC SAS has 60 employees andgenerated annual revenues of €10.5 million (£7.7 million) with net assets ofaround €2 million (£1.4 million). The acquisition strengthens AMEC SPIE's position in the HVAC market in EasternFrance in line with the strategy of expanding its Multitechnical RegionalServices network of over 300 locations and follows two acquisitions made earlierthis year.
