Chime Communications PLC22 July 2005 CHIME COMMUNICATIONS PLC ('Chime') CHIME ACQUIRES BAXTER-HULME Chime announces today the acquisition of Baxter-Hulme, a public relationsconsultancy based in Macclesfield. The initial consideration is £307,500, to be satisfied by 50% in cash today and50% in Chime shares payable in March 2006 depending on the company meetingcertain profit targets. There is deferred consideration payable based on theaccounts for the two years to 31st March 2008. The maximum deferredconsideration payable is £692,500, payable 50% in cash and 50% in Chime shares.
