Aberdeen City Council sets 2020/21 budget
Aberdeen City Council held its 2020/21 budget meeting on March 3 and agreed recommendations in relation to:
· General Fund Revenue and Capital Investment Programme;
· Housing Revenue Account (HRA) and Capital Investment Programme;
· Common Good Fund.
A balanced budget has been set, taking into account the requirement for savings, the need to protect services and the requirement to meet Scottish Government funding conditions. The Council is governed by the Local Government Finance Act 1992 and projected expenditure must be matched by income.
