Aberdeen Asset Management has 5.03% stake

The Management Board of Bank Polska Kasa Opieki Spółka Akcyjna ("Bank") informs that the Bank received the notification from Aberdeen Asset Managment PLC (and/or acting for its affiliates) with its registered office in Aberdeen (the "Notifying Entity"), about exceeding 5% of the total number of votes at the General Meeting of the Bank. The aforementioned increase of the held stake is the result of the purchase of 215,000 shares in the Bank that occurred on 11 January, 2012.Prior to the purchase, the Notifying Entity owned 12,979,683 shares in the Bank, constituting 4,95% of the overall number of shares in the Bank, corresponding to the same number and percentage of votes at the General Meeting of the Bank.

Currently, the Notifying Entity holds 13,194,683 shares in Bank, i.e. 5,03% of the overall number of shares in the Bank, corresponding to the same number and percentage of votes at the General Meeting of the Bank.
