9M 2011 RESULTS

CORRECTION OF TIMING

Following the confirmation that Eid-al-Adha will begin on Sunday 6 November 2011 Telecom Egypt has revised the date of publishing its Consolidated and Standalone Financial Results for 9M 2011 ended 30 September 2011. Results will now be published before the opening sessions of LSE and EGX on Tuesday, 15 November, 2011.

Telecom Egypt (TE), Egypt's incumbent telecommunications operator, started its operations in 1854 with the first telegraph line in Egypt. Then it was corporatized in 1998 to replace the former Arab Republic of Egypt National Telecommunication Organization (ARENTO).
