Telefonica O2 Czech Republic, a.s., announces another significant milestone inthe field of ADSL-based broadband Internet connections. According to internalstatistics, the nation's 400,000th broadband customer had the service installedtoday. Reaching this number only confirms that in the Czech Republic ADSLcontinues to be the most desirable form of broadband Internet connection. In the last month, the number of ADSL subscribers increased by 14,000 (3,6%) andthus surpassed another hundred thousand mark. During the first half of 2006, thenumber of broadband Internet subscribers thus increased by nearly another 50percent. "The growing popularity of our company's broadband connections can also be seenin the rising number of subscribers to the INTERNET EXPRES service, which morethan 15,000 customers ordered in the last month.
