Glass Lewis Recommends Shareholders
Vote AGAINST EGM Resolutions
Second Proxy Advisor Supports
INM's Recommendation to Shareholders
Dublin/London - 22 October, 2009: Independent News & Media PLC ("INM" or the "Company") today announces that Glass Lewis, the proxy advisory firm, has recommended that shareholders vote in line with INM's recommendation and AGAINST the two resolutions being put to the Extraordinary General Meeting (EGM) on Tuesday, 3 November, 2009.
This follows RiskMetrics Group who, earlier this week, also recommended in line with INM and AGAINST the two resolutions.
