PRE-EARNINGS GUIDANCE FOR 4Q 2017
(UNAUDITED OPERATING STATISTICS)
LG Electronics Inc. (the ''Company'') is pleased to announce certain unaudited operating statistics of the Company and its subsidiaries (the ''Group'') for the fourth quarter of 2017 as follows.
In the fourth quarter of 2017, the Group's consolidated sales amounted to KRW 16,969.7 billion (as compared to KRW 15,224.1 billion in 2017.3Q and KRW 14,777.8 billion in 2016.4Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter increase of 11.5% (QoQ 11.5%) and a year-on-year increase of 14.8% (YoY 14.8%).
The Group's consolidated operating income amounted to KRW 366.8 billion (as compared to KRW 516.1 billion in 2017.3Q and KRW -35.2 billion in 2016.4Q), representing a quarter-on-quarter decrease of 28.9% (QoQ -28.9%).
