£4.98m infrastructure contract awarded by leading UK Bank
Redstone plc (AIM: RED.L), the network-based provider of end to end managed services, has been awarded a £4.98 million contract by a leading UK bank.
The project for this Fortune Global 500 organisation will see Redstone install a fully intelligent structured cabling system and an environmental monitoring solution within its state of the art data centre facility. The project will support the bank's requirement for Development and Test functionality.
Redstone Chief Executive, Tony Weaver, commented: "This is a significant win for Redstone since the restructuring of the business began in September 2010 and one which demonstrates our continued strength in the financial sector especially around data centre operations.
"The management's revised strategy was to refocus the business on its core assets and offering to the market, whilst continuing to build on the existing blue chip client base, which we believe we are now well positioned to exploit in the year ahead."
