Krasnodar, October 30, 2012: OJSC "Magnit" is pleased to announce the opening of the 109th hypermarket of a medium format.

We are glad to inform you that today the Company has opened its 109thhypermarket of a medium format located at 22 Kochetova street, VelikiyNovgorod, North-Western federal district. Assortment of the hypermarketconsists of more than 12,000 SKUs, out of which about 66% are food items. Thereare 25 cash desks installed in the sales area. The hypermarket is open 7 days aweek from 10 am to 10 pm.

In accordance with the reviewed IFRS consolidated financial statements for 1H 2012, the Company recorded consolidated revenue of approximately US$ 6,776 million and consolidated EBITDA of around US$ 671 million.
