Development Securities PLC18 June 2007 Development Securities receives planning permission for City building Development Securities PLC announces today that it has received planning consentto redevelop 10 St Bride Street on the western side of the City close to LudgateCircus. The development is being speculatively funded by the Luxembourg-basedfund, Sireo Immobilienfonds No.4 SICAV. This development marks Development Securities' second forward funded deal in2007. Planning permission has been granted for a redevelopment behind thepartially retained facade of a building that has been vacant for a number ofyears. Construction work is due to start in September and finish in late 2009. The scheme will provide 55,392 sq ft of offices and wine bar/restaurant. It willform an integral part of the City Corporation's plans to regenerate the area andmake St Bride Street pedestrian only.
