LONDON (Alliance News) - Newly-listed online property portal business Zoopla Property Group PLC Thursday said it has continued to experience strong growth across all areas of the business since April, with website and mobile traffic up 34% on the previous year.
Zoopla, which operates the UK's second largest property website after Rightmove.co.uk, owned by Rightmove PLCm said it averaged 45.5 million monthly visits across its website and mobile app in the four months to July 31.
It said mobile devices now account for over half of its monthly visits, up 86% over the past year, as consumers use the group's services to search and research the property market at work, at home and on the move.
Zoopla said the number of advertising members has grown by 6% over the past year to 19,535 members, of which 16,460 are UK agency branches, 2,637 are new home developments and 438 are overseas agency branches.
"With the continuing increase in consumer engagement on our websites and mobile apps, our planned promotional activity and the demand that we are experiencing for our products and services by our members, we remain confident of delivering on our full-year expectations," Zoopla said.
Zoopla shares were up 0.5% at 251.25 pence early Thursday.
