(Alliance News) - Zoo Digital Group PLC, a provider of digital distribution services to the entertainment industry, said Wednesday it has appointed Gillian Wilmot as board chair.
Wilmot also will chair the company's remuneration committee and will be a member of the audit committee. She replaces Roger Jeynes, who will step down from the board after serving for nine years.
"Following a detailed search process, Gillian's relentless focus on business performance, growth and her track record of commercial business successes, coupled with excellent corporate governance skills, was central to the board's selection decision. We are confident that Gillian will be a valuable asset and counsel to the group as we continue the execution of our growth strategy," said Chief Executive Stuart Green.
Wilmot's executive career encompasses 30 years at companies including Marks & Spencer Group PLC, Boots, Avon Cosmetics, Littlewoods and Royal Mail PLC, Zoo Digital said.
The board changes are effective from July 1.
Shares in Zoo Digital were untraded at 65.50 pence each on Wednesday afternoon.
