LONDON (Alliance News) - Zoltav Resources Inc said Tuesday its Western Gas Plant in the Russian Federation is operating at full capacity ahead of schedule, after better-than-expected production from its newly-drilled Karpenskoye Well 100.
The Karpenskoye Well 100 was tested at a rate of 7.8 million cubic feet of gas a day and 67 barrels a day of condensate. It is currently producing at a constrained rate of 5.9 cubic feet of gas a day and 42 barrels a day of condensate on a 10mm choke, significantly greater than pre-drill estimates. Full capacity has been reached ahead of the previously expected first quarter of 2015.
The company reiterated that the Zhdanovskoye Well 30 is scheduled to be hooked in to existing facilities ahead of schedule in November. It is expected that this well will contribute a further 0.5 cubic feet of gas a day and 59.4 barrels a day of oil to Zoltav's production, the company added.
