YouGov Long-Serving Non-Executive Director Ben Elliot To Stand Down

30th Aug 2019 10:44

(Alliance News) - YouGov PLC said Friday Non-Executive Director Ben Elliot will stand down from the data collection and analytics firm from mid-September.

Elliot - non-exec since 2010 - will leave the firm from September 13 after having played a "central role" in the development of the strategy at the firm, YouGov said in a statement.

YouGov Chair Roger Parry said the firm was "extremely grateful" for the contribution Elliot made to the company.

"His insights, expertise and counsel during a period of significant growth and change have been greatly beneficial," Parry added. "In particular, his focus on improving the group's sales process has had a notable impact. On behalf of the board, I would like to thank him for his service to YouGov and wish him well."

Shares in YouGov were 2.4% higher at 590.00 pence in London on Friday.
