Yen Declines Against Majors

CANBERA (Alliance News) - The Japanese yen slipped against other major currencies ahead of European deals on Friday.

The yen declined to 170.90 against the pound and 101.86 against the greenback, down from early 2-week high of 169.96 and a multi-week high of 101.31, respectively.

The yen slipped to a 4-day low of 116.23 against the franc, off early high of 115.64.

The yen eased to 95.48 against the aussie from previous 3-day high of 95.04, and a session's low of 141.54 against the euro, reversing from an early high of 140.69.

Pulling away from early 2-week highs of 92.62 against the loonie and 87.62 against the kiwi, the yen weakened to 93.17 and 88.23, respectively.
