(Alliance News) - Xpediator PLC on Wednesday said it has appointed Robert Ross as chief financial officer from the beginning of 2020.
The freight management services provider said Ross is currently finance director of Europa Worldwide Group, a transport and logistics company. Prior to this role, he worked in various management roles for PricewaterhouseCoopers where he specialised in the retail, leisure and consumer sectors.
"I am delighted Robert is joining us. He is a talented individual and comes to us from an industry peer of a similar size which ensures he has an excellent understanding of our markets and the future opportunities within them," said Chief Executive Stephen Blyth.
Meanwhile, Richard Myson - currently interim CFO - will ensure an orderly handover, Xpediator said, and will subsequently become chief commercial officer and join the company's operating board.
"Xpediator has grown substantially over the past three years and we have an ambitious growth strategy in which Robert will be centrally involved," added Blyth.
Xpediator shares were trading 4.6% higher in London on Wednesday at 31.90 pence each.
