(Alliance News) - Freight management services provider Xpediator PLC on Monday said Wim Pauwels and Charles McGurin have been appointed as independent non-executive directors with immediate effect.
Pauwels has worked in multiple senior logistics roles across Europe and the US over the past 40 years, Xpediator said. In his most recent executive role, Pauwels was chief regional officer for Yusen Logistics Europe up until this year.
Meanwhile, McGurin has worked extensively in the international supply chain sector. He was most recently chief executive of Allport Cargo Services Group, a logistics organisation.
"Xpediator has tripled in size over the last three years and the management skills required for the enlarged business are very different. We are therefore delighted to confirm the appointments of both Wim and Charles who have run much larger businesses and will be very valuable to the group as we continue to fully integrate the acquired businesses, maximise the opportunities for further organic growth and invest in the digitalisation of our forwarding activities," said Non-Executive Chair Alex Borrelli.
Xpediator shares were trading 3.6% higher in London on Monday at 23.30 pence each.
