(Alliance News) - Digital performance publisher XLMedia PLC said Friday it has bought out the remaining interest of the founder in website 101GreatGoals.com for a consideration "not material" to the group.
101GreatGoals.com is a website that provides live streaming services for football, as well as news and betting tips.
XLMedia said the acquisition will provide a simplified control structure will help accelerate the development of the website in current and future regions, including North America.
The group said it considers 101GreatGoals.com a good example of the kind of asset that XLMedia will focus on, as it consolidates and rebalances its publishing portfolio, "with an emphasis on content-rich, highly engaging sites in regulated and high-potential markets".
Shares in XLMedia were 3.6% higher at 26.20 pence on Friday in London.
