LONDON (Alliance News) - Xeros Technology Group PLC Monday said it now counts four of the five world's biggest hotel groups by room numbers among its customers after winning a new contract.
The company didn't provide any financial details of the new contract, or say which of the hotel groups it is with. Intercontinental Hotels Group PLC, Hilton, Marriott, Wyndham and Choice are the five biggest hotel groups globally by room numbers.
Xeros, which has developed a polymer bead laundry cleaning system, said its system is now installed at sites with each of the four hotel groups it has contracts with in the US.
The system means much less water is used in cleaning, and the company claims users are using up to 75% less water, up to 50% less energy and up to 50% less detergent compared with using conventional washing machines.
Xeros Technology Group shares were down 0.5% at 103.00 pence Monday morning.
