LONDON (Alliance News) - Inkjet supplier Xaar PLC said on Wednesday it has promoted its head of corporate development, Shomit Kenkare, to be chief financial officer with effect on November 15.
Kenkare first joined Xaar in June, coming from NYSE-listed Eastman Kodak Co, where he spent twenty years from 1997 to 2018, leaving as vice president of finance for the company's Enterprise Inkjet, Software & Solutions and Advanced Materials & Micro 3D divisions.
"With his extensive global industry experience and exceptional financial credentials, I have no doubt that Shomit's knowledge and strategic insight will be of immense value to the group. Shomit has made a significant, positive impression in the short time he has been at the business, and I look forward to working closely with him as we continue with our business transformation," said Chief Executive Doug Edwards.
Shares in Xaar were up 3.2% on Wednesday morning at 150.60 pence.
