WS Atkins Acquires Singapore-Based Project Management Business For GBP8.4M

LONDON (Alliance News) - WS Atkins PLC Friday said that it has acquired Singapore-based international consultancy, Confluence Project Management Pte Limited.

The holding company, which is engaged in engineering and design consultancies, said that it bought the project management business, which has operations in Asia Pacific, the Middle East and India, for a debt-free cash consideration of GBP8.4 million.

WS Atkins said that Confluence's business teams in Singapore, Hong Kong, Abu Dhabi and India, will be integrated with its own existing operations in Asia Pacific and the Middle East.

WS Atkins shares were up 0.2% Friday morning, trading at 1,123.00 pence per share.
