LONDON (Alliance News) - Advertising and PR giant WPP PLC said Tuesday, ahead of its full-year results on Thursday, that its wholly owned operating company JWT is acquiring creative digital marketing company Lemon Sky in Poland.
WPP did not disclose any financial details about the acquisition, but said Lemon Sky's revenues for 2013 were EUR2.7 million, with gross assets of approximately EUR2.4 million. It said some of the agency's clients include Nestle, Orange,Tesco PLC and Leroy Merlin.
WPP has set itself a target to achieve between 40% and 45% of revenue from digital operations in the next five years.
Shares in WPP were trading 0.1% or 1.00 pence per share lower in early trading Tuesday, at 1,348.00 pence per share.
