LONDON (Alliance News) - WPP PLC said Monday that it will acquire Netherlands-based media trading firm Bannerconnect via its wholly-owned operating company Xaxis.
The company said that Bannerconnect's technology platform Bright is complementary to Xaxis' global capabilities. The company was founded in 2004, and posted revenues of EUR4.3 million in the year ended December 31 2013.
Shares in WPP were trading down 0.2% at 1,275.00 pence Monday afternoon.
