WPP Partnership Buys Dutch Digital Marketing Company

LONDON (Alliance News) - Media buying giant WPP PLC Friday said its partnership company with POSSIBLE Worldwide has bought MR Development BV of the Netherlands.

WPP's Grey EMEA advertising and marketing business has a strategic partnership with POSSIBLE. Media Republic will become part of GreyPOSSIBLE Benelux, formed in 2013 by the merger of Grey's Amsterdam and Brussels operations with Possible Amsterdam.

Media Republic's clients include APG, Axe, de Bijenkorf, Bugaboo, DSM, Miele and Philips. It posted revenues of USD1.7 million in 2012, and had gross assets of USD582,000 at the end of that year.

No financial details were provided.

WPP shares were up 0.2% at 1,355 pence Friday morning.
