LONDON (Alliance News) - WPP PLC said Thursday it has invested in London-based ZappiStore Ltd, an automated market research company that was launched in 2013.
ZappiStore operates software applications to provide automated data collection and analytics through a self-service platform. It presently operates in nine countries, and plans to launch in 11 additional markets in the near future.
WPP said that the investment continues its strategy of strengthening its capabilities in digital media. It didn't state the size of the stake it bought in ZappiStore, nor what it paid.
Shares in WPP were trading down 0.4% at 1,238.00 pence Thursday.
