LONDON (Alliance News) - Media buying giant WPP PLC said Thursday that its wholly-owned marketing communications network, Ogilvy & Mather, has acquired dnx, a UK-based marketing agency.
Under the acquisition, dnx will merge with OgilvyOne's B2B division and Ogilvy Primary Contact. The combined business will trade as OgilvyOne dnx. No financial terms of the deal were disclosed.
dnx reported consolidated revenues for the year ended June 30, 2013 of GBP8.4 million, with gross assets of GBP3.7 million as at the same date.
This investment continues WPP's strategy of developing its services across markets and sectors and its focus on strengthening its digital capabilities across all its disciplines, said the company.
Shares in WPP were trading marginally higher Thursday afternoon, up 0.24% at 1,261 pence per share.
