(Alliance News) - WPP PLC on Thursday said it has acquired a majority stake in creative agency AQuest for an undisclosed sum.
FTSE 100-listed advertising firm WPP did not provide its exact stake in Italian firm AQuest, but said the deal was in line with WPP's "strategy to provide transformative ideas and outcomes for its clients through an integrated offer of communications, experience, commerce and technology".
AQuest clients includes brands such as Gucci, Mercedes, and Bulgari and the firm is based in Verona, where it has over 70 employees.
"Deal terms are not disclosed," WPP said.
Shares in WPP were down 0.1% at 993.60 pence on Thursday afternoon.
