LONDON (Alliance News) - Media buying giant WPP PLC Tuesday said it has agreed to buy Quirk, South Africa's largest independently-owned digital marketing agency.
It didn't provide any financial details for the acquisition.
Quirk has five agencies in Africa and in London, and employs 200 people. Its made revenue of about ZAR140 million in the year to February 28. Its clients include Distell, Capitec Bank, Woolworths, Caltex and Tyco, WPP said.
WPP shares were down 0.2% at 1,283 pence Tuesday morning.
