LONDON (Alliance News) - Media buying giant WPP PLC said Monday that its global marketing communications agency J Walter Thompson Co has bought a majority stake in digital marketing consultancy Cleartag.
Cleartag operates in Lebanon and the United Arab Emirates, and employs around 65 people in Beirut and Dubai. It produced revenue of EUR3.6 million in 2014, and gross assets of around USD1.5 million at the end of 2014.
No financial details of the deal were disclosed.
Shares in WPP were down 0.4% at 1,514.00 pence Monday morning.
