LONDON (Alliance News) - Worthington Group PLC Friday said it has secured a ninth extension to the deadline for Nuna Minerals AS to make an offer for the company.
Nuna Minerals is in talks to obtain so-called 'rescue' refinancing from Greenland Mining Management Ltd with a view to then subsequently making an offer for Worthington.
Worthington said it understands progress has been made on this process after Nuna appointed a new chairman and chief executive officer February 1.
The deadline has now been extended to March 4.
Shares in Worthington remain suspended.
