LONDON (Alliance News) - Investment company Worthington Group PLC on Friday said it has secured yet another extension to the takeover deadline for its talks with Numa Minerals AS.
The extension, the fifth secured by the company and granted by the Takeover Panel, means the deadline for the talks is now November 13, having previously been set to expire on Friday.
Worthington said it understands progress has been made on the talks Numa is holding with Greenland Mining Management Ltd to secure so-called "rescue" financing. Once that is secured, Numa intends to make a bid for Worthington.
Shares in Worthington remain suspended.
