Workspace Says Joint Venture Sells Four Light Industrial Units

LONDON (Alliance News) - Workspace Group PLC Wednesday said the BlackRock Workspace Property Trust has sold a portfolio of four light industrial properties to Westbrook Partners for GBP32.1 million.

BlackRock Workspace Property Trust is a joint venture between FTSE 250-listed property company and BlackRock UK Property Fund, a vehicle managed by US fund manager BlackRock Inc.

The four properties sold were Charles House in Southall; Horton Road Industrial Estate in West Drayton; Kingsmill Business Park in Kingston-Upon-Thames and Progress Way Business Park in Croydon.

Workspace said the properties were sold at 3.8% premium to their March 2015 valuation.

Shares in Workspace were up 0.5% to 825.00 pence on Wednesday.
