(Alliance News) - Office space firm Workspace Group PLC has made interim Chief Executive Graham Clemett's role permanent, the company said Tuesday.
Clemett has been serving as CEO on a temporary basis since June, when predecessor Jamie Hopkins stepped down. However, he will now continue in the position permanently, having originally joined Workspace in July 2007.
Chair Daniel Kitchen said: "The board has appointed Graham as our new chief executive officer after a rigorous selection process involving both internal and external candidates. This process, combined with Graham's active leadership during the last few months and his track record within the business, gives the board confidence he is the right person for this position.
"Graham has been an integral part of the strong executive team that successfully steered Workspace through challenging economic cycles, delivering impressive levels of income and profit growth, and we are confident this will continue under his leadership."
Workspace shares were 1.8% lower in early trade on Tuesday at 939.00 pence each.
