(Alliance News) - Workspace Group PLC on Friday said it has secured planning permission for a mixed-used redevelopment project in the Wandsworth area of south London.
The office space provider has been granted planning consent for the mixed-use redevelopment of two adjacent properties that it owns at Riverside and Garratt Lane in Wandsworth.
The planning consent is for a new 106,000 square feet business centre and 65,000 square feet of new light industrial space, both on Garratt Lane, and 402 residential apartments set back from the road along the River Wandle, including 35% affordable housing, the London-focused company said.
The 5.4 acre site currently comprises 145,000 square feet of office, leisure and light industrial space, with a rent roll of GBP2.5 million and a property valuation of GBP46 million as at March 31.
Shares in the FTSE 250 listed company were down 0.4% at 676.00 pence each in London on Friday morning.
