12th Sep 2019 18:20

(Alliance News) - Woodford Patient Capital Trust PLC said Thursday one of its unnamed unlisted assets had seen its valuation independently reduced, slicing 4.0 pence per share off its net asset value.

Woodford Patient Capital said the valuation reduction will result in its net asset per share falling by 4.0 pence. At the end of 2018, Woodford Patient Capital reported NAV per share stood at 97.61 pence.

The investment trust - managed by troubled fund manager Neil Woodford - added that it was "unable to comment further on this revaluation at this time due to confidentiality obligations, but it will provide a further update to the market when able to do so."

In late August, Woodford Patient Capital was forced to announce a 3.4p per share cut to NAV following a revaluation of its stake in unlisted IH Holdings International Ltd.
