Wolf Minerals Appoints New Chief As Hale Steps Aside

16th Oct 2013 09:26

LONDON (Alliance News) - Wolf Minerals Ltd Wednesday said it had appointed Russell Clark as its new managing director after Humphrey Hale stepped down, part of the company's intended strategy as it becomes a producer rather than an explorer.

The specialty metals exploration and development company said Hale will remain with the company as a consultant for three months to ensure a smooth handover.

"The change in the company's senior leadership is in line with its transition strategy as Wolf moves from the exploration and development phase of its evolution into mine construction, and eventual production, at its Hemerdon tungsten and tin project in Devon, in southwest England," the company said in a statement.

Clark has more than 35 years experience in technical roles, project management, general management and executive positions at projects in the US, Africa, Papua New Guinea, and throughout Australia, Wolf said. He was previously managing director of Grange Resources, Australia's largest magnetite producer.

Wolf Minerals shares were up 1.4% at 19.9 pence Wednesday morning.
