Wizz Air To Open Six New Routes In Poland And Lithuania

LONDON (Alliance News) - Wizz Air Holdings PLC Thursday said it will open six new routes in Poland and Lithuania from June to October.

The low-cost airline in central and eastern Europe said it will launch a service from Gdansk in Poland to Reykjavik in Iceland from June, adding a new airport and country to its portfolio.

Three new services from Vilnius in Lithuania to Glasgow, Munich Memmingen in Germany and Kiev in Ukraine, will commence in September, followed by two routes from Win in Poland to Basel Mulhouse Freiburg and Geneva in Switzerland starting at the end of October.

Shares in Wizz Air were trading up 0.3% at 1,460.00 pence Thursday morning.
