LONDON (Alliance News) - Wizz Air Holdings PLC Tuesday said it has added a new service running between Ohrid in the Republic of Macedonia and London Luton airport.
The low cost airliner said the new service will begin running on June 14, with two weekly flights on Wednesdays and Sundays with fares starting from MKD1,499 a ticket, about GBP17.
With the new route, Wizz Air now runs a total of 21 routes to nine countries from two Macedonian airports, Skopje and Ohrid.
"Today we are pleased to announce the further development of our Ohrid operation. Less than 2 months ago we announced our first Ohrid route to Basel Mulhouse Freiburg and today we are adding a second service to London Luton in the UK," said Chief Commercial Officer György Abrán.
