LONDON (Alliance News) - Wizz Air Holdings PLC on Thursday said it has appointed former British Gas Services Managing Director Susan Hooper as a non-executive director, effective from March 1.
Prior to joining British Gas, Hooper was chief executive of the travel division at Acromas Group, which holds investments in over 50s services provider Saga and motoring company the AA.
She is currently a non-executive director at gambling company the Rank Group PLC and from 2011 to 2014 was a non-executive director at Travelodge and Costa-owner Whitbread PLC.
"I am delighted that Susan has agreed to join the board of Wizz Air. Her credentials in the leisure sector are outstanding and she has a great deal of experience as a non-executive of UK listed companies. We look forward to working with her," Chairman William Franke said in a statement.
