LONDON (Alliance News) - M Winkworth PLC on Thursday said it has started 2016 strongly, and announced the opening of three offices with four more under negotiation.
The estate agency said it will have more than 100 offices by the end of its first quarter in March, with the opening of offices in Colindale, Potters Bar and Milford On Sea.
Winkworth's offices are predominantly in the London area and south-east of England.
It did not say where the four offices under negotiation were based.
Winkworth's Chief Executive Dominic Agace added that the company's letting business was making "excellent progress" and pointed to signs the sales market remains well underpinned, with "record low interest rates and wage inflation returning".
"In the fourth quarter we saw a doubling of new franchise enquiries over the previous period and we have entered 2016 with a strong start across our whole network," Agace said.
Winkworth shares were 0.6% up at 123.20 pence on Thursday morning.
