LONDON (Alliance News) - Wind sensors developer Windar Photonics PLC on Monday said it has secured separate orders for its LiDAR sensors from two large North American wind farm owners.
The first order covers six WindEYE sensors for a Canadian utility provider, while the second order is for five WindEYE units for a US-based utility company. Both will be installed immediately.
No financial details were disclosed on the deals.
"These two new orders represent a significant opportunity for Windar to expand our global reach and to demonstrate the significant benefits of WindEYE to utility scale wind generation projects," said Martin Bambusch, Windar's chief executive.
Shares in Windar were untraded on Monday morning, having last traded at 70.75 pence.
