Wincanton Wins Petroleum Delivery Contract With Phillips 66

26th Mar 2014 11:30

LONDON (Alliance News) - Wincanton PLC said Wednesday it has won a contract with oil and refining company, Phillips 66, to deliver petroleum products to retail forecourts and commercial premises in the Midlands and North East England.

Wincanton, the supply chain services provider, said the contract will see more than 100 of its operational staff deliver more than 1 billion litres of fuel and liquid petroleum gas per year to forecourts and commercial sites across the Midlands and North East England.

The contract win is an extension of the firms' working relationship, taking it to the 15-year mark.

Wincanton's operational team will work out of its Immingham, Kingsbury and Stockton sites, said the firm.

Shares in Wincanton were trading 0.76% lower at 123.06 pence Wednesday morning.
