LONDON (Alliance News) - Logistics provider Wincanton PLC Friday said it has won a contract to maintain about half of Asda's fleet of 1,800 home shopping delivery vehicles.
The deal is for repair and maintenance of the supermarket chain's fleet of 3.5 tonne trucks on the East Midlands, Northern England, Scotland and Northern Ireland.
No financial details were provided.
Wincanton shares were up 3.7% at 131.938 pence Friday morning.
