LONDON (Alliance News) - Supply chain logistics provider Wincanton PLC said on Tuesday that Non-Executive Director Martin Sawkins will retire from the company with effect at the end of 2018.
Sawkins has been part of the company for six years since 2012, and is also a non-executive director at adhesive products manufacturer Scapa PLC for three years since 2015.
His most recent executive role was as human resources director for FTSE 100-listed pest control company Rentokil Initial PLC.
"I would like to thank Martin for the significant contribution he has made to Wincanton during his time on the board and as chair of the Remuneration Committee and am pleased that Gill will be taking over from him as our new Remuneration Committee chair," said Chairman Martin Read.
Shares in Wincanton were down 1.1% at 226.50 pence on Tuesday.
