LONDON (Alliance News) - Legal and healthcare-focused publishing firm Wilmington PLC said Thursday it has appointed Mark Milner as chief executive officer with effect on July 1.
On the same date, Executive Chair Martin Morgan will revert to his prior position as non-executive chairman.
Milner will be joining from media company Daily Mail & General Trust PLC, where he is currently senior adviser on opportunities in the property sector.
His most recent role was as chief executive officer of DMGT's property information division, Landmark Information for five years from 2013 to 2018.
"Following a thorough independent external search process, we are delighted that Mark Milner is joining us as CEO. This is an important point in Wilmington's evolution and Mark's experience in both sales and operations in digital media businesses will be hugely valuable to us during this stage of our development," said Chair Morgan.
Shares in Wilmington were up 1.0% at 198.00 pence on Thursday.
