(Alliance News) - FTSE 100 packaging firm DS Smith PLC said Monday Chief Financial Officer Adrian Marsh is to leave the group to join FTSE 250 bookmaker William Hill PLC.
Marsh's departure date will be determined in due course, DS Smith said, but William Hill said he will join the company as CFO later in 2020.
Marsh will be replacing Ruth Prior at London-based William Hill, who is departing for product testing company Element Materials Technology Ltd.
Marsh has been part of DS Smith, which is also based in London, since 2013 and prior to that was director of Tax, Treasury & Corporate Finance at supermarket Tesco PLC.
"Adrian has been a committed, professional and loyal DS Smith colleague. I have greatly enjoyed working with him on both a professional and personal level for the last seven years. He will leave with our gratitude for his contribution to the group and our very best wishes in his new venture," said DS Smith Chief Executive Miles Roberts.
"I am delighted to welcome Adrian to the board. As a proven CFO of a FTSE listed company with M&A, deal execution and multi-sector finance experience in US and European markets, he will be able to make a significant contribution to William Hill in the enablement of the strategy and is a great addition to the team," said William Hill CEO Ulrik Bengtsson.
