LONDON (Alliance News) - FTSE 100-listed Whitbread PLC on Tuesday said it has appointed Deloitte LLP as its new auditor, replacing Ernst & Young LLP.
The company, which owns the Costa Coffee and Premier Inn brands, said Deloitte would take over its audit account after completion of the audit for its financial year to February 26.
"We thank Ernst & Young LLP for their significant contribution over many years as Whitbread's auditor and we look forward to working with Deloitte LLP in the future," said Whitbread Audit Committee Chairman Simon Melliss.
Whitbread shares were down 1.1% to 5,205.00 pence on Tuesday.
